E' purtroppo con un nodo in gola che mi tocca salutare uno di noi, uno sempre presente nel nostro piccolo forum, Nonno Bruno. Non sarà facile salutarti e fare a meno di te ma il ricordo dei momenti insieme ci saranno almeno di conforto.

Vittoria a Xi'an domenica scorsa e primo pareggio in casa venerdi' contro lo Shanghai. Dai guerrieri di terracotta, celebre attrazione della citta' di Xi'an, alla celebrazione insolita del mio 35esimo compleanno.

Domenica scorsa eravamo nella piu' antica capitale cinese, casa dell'Imperatore Qin, dove si trovano i famosi guerrieri di terracotta. Esercito virtuale a difesa della tomba del grande Imperatore unificatore dell'attuale Cina. Scrittura, unita' di misura e Grande Muraglia devono a lui infatti l'attuale uniformita'.

Per noi partita spigolosa che abbiamo vinto 1-0 e abbiamo cosi' ripreso il buon cammino. Continuato anche venerdi' contro lo Shanghai. Squadra vice campione dello scorso anno e pretendente al titolo anche quest'anno. Un pareggio leggermente amaro viste le tante occasioni create ma buono visto che eravamo in svantaggio (grazie purtroppo alla mia complicita'......).

Venerdi' e' stata anche l'occasione per i tifosi del Tianjin di celebrare il mio compleanno..... mai era successo prima nella mia carriera. Colletta in settimana per organizzare una coreografia fatta di giganotografie, striscioni, bandiere e regali che mi sono stati consegnati a fine partita. Emozionante prova d'affetto che portero' come uno dei piu' bei ricordi della mia carriera, peccato solo per il risultato e per il mio errore in occasione del loro gol.... ma ci sara' tempo spero di ripagare questo loro affetto.

In Xi'an we win last sunday and last friday our first draw against Shanghai at home. From the terracotta's warriors, famous attraction of Xi'an, to the celebration of my 35th birthday.

Last sunday we played in the ancient capital of China, where the famous warriors are protecting the Emperor Qin's grave. This famous emperor unified the Great Wall, the unit of measurement, and the chinese writing.

For us was a difficult match but finally we win and we restart our good way in this season. Also last friday was almost good the draw against a good team like Shanghai. We deserved the three points but we missed a lot of opportunities and we were 0-1 for them ... (thanks my mistake......) so we are a little satisfied for the final one point gained.

Friday was also the opportunity for our fans to celebrate my birthday (today 17th May) in a fantastic way. First time in my career that the fans celebrate my birthday at the stadium and everything was very funny. The big photos, banners, flags and a lot of presents from our fans..... inforgettable!!!!!!! Unfortunatly we didn't give them the victory but I hope we will give it them as soon as possible!

Primo Maggio contro lo Shandong...0-1 con una delle migliori prestazioni della stagione. Un'occasione concessa ai campioni in carica ed un gol subito. Da parte nostra una buonissima partita che non ha trovato il giusto premio nel gol. Peccato perche' sarebbe stato un ottimo risultato anche in funzione della classifica che ora ci vede scesi di qualche posizione. I primi sono sempre a due punti ma molte squadre sono in lotta. 

Martedi' , invece, e' partito l'ultimo treno della Champions League e purtroppo non ci siamo saliti. Ottimo il risultato di 3-1 contro i giapponesi del Kawasaki Frontale ma inutile vittoria visto che i coreani del Pohang Steelers hanno vinto la loro partita e quindi con 9 punti sono per noi irraggiungibili. La partita e' stata in linea con la prestazione della scorsa settimana ma con un particolare importante. In campo c'erano parecchi volti nuovi, alcuni alla prima partita ufficiale della stagione. E' stato una buona iniezione di fiducia per tutti noi vedere che siamo competitivi anche con molte assenze.

Personalmente due partite amare, la prima per il risultato e l'assoluta convinzione di non aver meritato la sconfitta. La seconda per l'inutilita' della vittoria, se non come iniezione di entusiasmo e fiducia di cui abbiamo bisogno in campionato. Ho avuto anche modo di mettere la firma sul risultato con un gol nei minuti di recupero, il 3-1 appunto, che ha sancito la vittoria. A memoria credo sia il primo gol in carriera che mi vede in azione personale e con la bellezza di 4 tocchi di palla.....mai successo prima!

Two interestings matches and results so and so. Against Shandong, last May 1st, I think we played the best match of this season, we gave them just one opportunity for score and they scored. We created a lot of chances, and we deserved a victory but we can't take the 3 points. It was a great opportunity also for the table and now we are 2 points clear from the top but with more teams above us.

On tuesday we lost the last train for the Asian Champions League, we win a very good match but Pohang Steelers win against the australian team of Central Coast and with 9 points is for us to far! Against Kawasaki Frontale we win 3-1 and was a good performance above all from the younger players that played. For us is a good thing to know that we have a good group and we can be a very strong team also without many important players. We need all the players and this victory was so important to give us confidence and good spirit.

Personally I am so disappointed for the game against Shandong becuase we deserved the 3 points and we came back at home with 0. Against Kawasaki we knew that we hadn't possibility to pass the round so we played just for our spirit and for win one match in Champions League.... our last game at home. Hard match with many tackles and I scored in the last minute, maybe the best goal of my career, 4 touches and goal...... It never happened before!!!!

Abbiamo ripreso la vecchia strada e siamo tornati alla vittoria a Chengdu, nel Sichuan, nel cuore della Cina. 1-0 con gol di Hao Jun Min e tre punti importanti perche' ci riportano al secondo posto ad un solo punto dalla capolista Henan.

Chengdu e' il capoluogo della regione del Sichuan che meno di un anno fa fu colpita dal violento terremoto che sconvolse tutta la Cina. Allo stadio campeggiavano due striscioni che ricordavano l'evento e soprattutto ricordavano che la loro forza veniva e cresceva dal post-terremoto, dalla forza che servi per ricostruire.

La partita e' stata abbastanza equilibrata e dopo un palo e due gol annullati a loro, ed un gol annullato a noi e' arrivato il gol di Hao Chi Min che ci ha consentito di difendere e ripartire per gli ultimi 20 minuti di partita. Loro venivano da 4 sconfitte consecutive e non e' stato facile contenere la loro voglia di punti, noi siamo stati bravi a non scomporci dopo le loro occasioni da gol.

Personalmente molto soddisfatto del risultato, della mia prestazione abbastanza contento anche se giocando meno difensivamente vorrei aiutare di piu' in avanti. Nelle ultime due partite, infatti, non sono piu' il solo centrocampista difensivo ma siamo passati ad una sorta di 4-4-2 che mi permette qualche sortita in avanti.

Ora arrivano due impegni interessanti. Venerdi' contro i campioni in carica dello Shandong e martedi' prossimo la partita di Champions contro i gia' qualificati giapponesi del Kawasaki Frontale. Saranno due partite in casa ed entrambe molto significative per le due competizioni. Non vincere martedi' significherebbe non poter piu' sperare nella qualificazione, ma sono abbastanza fiducioso perche' giocando in casa tutto e' molto piu' semplice.

We came back to the victory after 4 matches with 3 lost and 1 draw. 1-0 in Chengdu with the goal of Hao Jun Min. Three points that push us in the second position behind Henan just for 1 point. Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan region, where last May there was a terrible earthquake. At the stadium the Chengdu's fans rememberd the event and they remembered that their strongness came from the spirit of that days when all the people worked for rebuild their life.

The match was a good match and balanced between the two teams. One post and two irregulars goals for them and one irregular goal for us. Last 20 minutes we defended very well the Hao Chi Min's goal and finally we deserved the 3 points. Was so hard to play against them because they came from 4 lost straight and they need points.

Personally I' m very happy for the victory  but for my performance I'm almost happy because I want to help more forward now. Last two games, in fact, we changed and we played with two defender midfielders, so now, I can go forward a little bit more.

Next two matches will be very interesting because on friday we'll play against Shandong, 2008 champions of Chinese Super League and on tuesday we'll play the Champions League match against Kawasaki Frontale. On tuesday if we don't win we'll go out from the competition so..... I'm positive because both matches will be at home, at the Teda Stadium, and so ... everything is easyer at our home!

Altra sconfitta da dimenticare subito! Prima sconfitta nel nostro stadio e davanti al nostro pubblico in una settimana dove il nostro obbiettivo era riscattare la sconfitta di Changsha. Purtroppo l'attenzione e la voglia di fare bene contro la prima in classifica ha motivato la neo promossa Jiangsu e sono riusciti a portare a casa i 3 punti.

Primo tempo abbastanza buono con occasioni sprecate da parte nostra e atteggiamento difensivo dello Jiangsu, nel secondo tempo purtroppo abbiamo subito il gol presto ed e' diventato sempre piu' difficile arrivare alla porta avversaria. Secondo gol, conseguenza del loro contropiede nel momento in cui stavamo cercando di raddrizzare l'incontro. Un po' di stanchezza e come  a Changsha la difficolta' di trovare spazi quando le squadre avversarie si chiudono molto.

Personalmente abbattuto per il risultato e per l'amarezza di aver perso il primato in classifica, ho giocato gli ultimi dieci minuti di partita un po' piu' avanti ma non e' cambiato niente. Il morale e' comunque buono. Un po' perche' il campionato e' lungo e ogni tanto tornare con i piedi per terra puo' far bene e un po' perche' la settimana l'ho trascorsa in compagnia della mia famiglia e l'umore ne ha risentito positivamente!

Ora la Champions League con la partita in casa contro il Pohang Steelers (Martedi' ore 19.30 locali - 13.30 italiane) e l'obbligo di vincere per sperare ancora. E' difficile passare il turno ma se abbiamo una piccola possibilita' la possiamo cogliere solo vincendo, quindi non c'e' tempo per abbattersi....

Another defeat that we have to forget as soon as possible. First defeat at home, with our fans when we wanted forget the match at Changsha. We loose the top of the table and we played against a team, Jiangsu, that last year was in second division and for that they want to do the best against the first team in the table. Attention and enthusiasm.... and they brought the 3 points.

First half not so bad. We had a lot of opportunities  and they were thinking principally in defending. Second half harder for us because they scored at the begin and then they defend more and more. For us was so difficult to find space and to create opportunities. Maybe a little tired but surely when the opponent is closed and all the players wait us in their midfield is very difficult for us to score...like the match in Changsha. The second goal was a direct consequent of our attack and their counter attack.

Personally I'm disappointed for loosing the first position and for loosing a match at home. Last 10 minutes I played a little bit forward but the result didn't change. Mentally is a little bit better because the League is too long and sometimes to fall should be good for come back with the feet in the ground. My humour was better also because last week my family was here and obviously everything was better!!!!

We have to forget this defeat because tomorrow (Tuesday) we'll play the 4th match of Asian Champions League against Pohang Steelers (Corea) at home and, if we want to take the little oppotunity for pass the round, we have to win this match.....so ....get up!!!!!!!!!
